(Zadar sunset)
Seeing the Balkans was eye opening. I’d never been immersed in a foreign culture, even if I once banged a Brazilian woman for a few months.
Everywhere I went in Bosnia or Croatia was clean. The people are good looking, especially the women. We saw maybe one homeless person in two weeks; no druggies stumbling around, much peace and quiet…
which is my problem.
The USA has ENERGY; you need the chaotic flow of push and pull for brilliance to emerge.
I thought I could spend two weeks off the internet. “Relaxing”. It was like that meme or story where the person is like yeah this is great, this is awesome, but I wonder how that thing I left is doing.
This is also why many people get back with crazy ex’s, but that’s for another day.
Look at this beautiful building in Zadar. A cool, classical church. It was great to see…
But how much sight seeing can you do before you realize THE PEOPLE WHO BUILT THAT WERE NOT SIGHT SEEING. They were CREATING BEAUTY, ART.
Life is about living, not seeing what others did while they were living.
Learning about my baby mama aka wife’s culture was incredible. I am beyond blessed to have had that time with her, Toddler Kong, and most of her family (leaving it there).
Time to get back creating, leaving a legacy that others can read or see and get bored with so they create cool stuff of their own.
